Volunteering for EmployabilityUK
We volunteer for an Education Charity called EmployabilityUK, which provide personal and professional development opportunities for students and young adults. For EmployabilityUK we have provided talks and workshops, built an online education platform, facilitated video creation with volunteers, and provided a range of digital development support.
Volunteering for Manchester Metropolitan University
We have provided Manchester Metropolitan University students with career development. Susanne Virtanen, the founder of DiscoverChange, joined a professional Mentoring Scheme to support a management student to refine their CV and application letter and general focus and confidence in pursuing their career aspirations. Susanne also delivered a Career Impact workshop, facilitating a personality quiz and providing multiple strategies for career and leadership development tools.

Prior to delivering the workshop Susanne carefully assesses the students’ needs to target her delivery appropriately. Community Development
We are pleased to be recognised as one of the partners for Active Communities and Skills360 – a community development platform that supports local organisations and individuals to develop and grow. One of the projects includes the Champions of Change programme, supporting local community leaders to create inspiring and educational digital content for other volunteers and employees.
